Future Tips was forged from the remains of the band Rhode Island. A new path was chosen and the songs began painfully arriving. MR began to explain this 'sound' in a limited intellectual capacity (and Philly accent) to KL over beers at the Ministry of Information during a chance meeting in the summer of '03. A demo was passed and the band was born.
After several months of debate and collaboration the ideas began to take some shape. Not until MR and KL were able to stop talking about it and actually get their shit together did JK show his face. When JK decided to join it was like starting over (no, kidding) - the ideas developed further and textures began to emerge. MK (an audience member for 3 shows) joined after Future Tips proved their worth. MK is an incentive to see the band in his own right, especially round these parts, ya'll.
Finally, Daryl Hirsch entered the garage, with a Nord Lead and a serious fixation on Elvis and the Attractions. He was immediatley ordered to join the band.
